Idk bout anyone but this seems more natural than the typical accepting troupe im assuming the reason why he hasn't used magic to confirm is because he might be scared to know that they had a daughter, and after that betrayal hes valid and the fact that hes slowly becoming conscious is proof that they'll eventually overcome this, but the flow is absolutely logical plot might be a bit bland but I think the emotions and progress is valid, I mean why would he willing accept someone who claims to be the daughter of the ex who almost killed him, like be fr most of yall hate your ex after a breakup so stop being in yalls delusional fantasies that its all rainbows and roses the progress on her relationship with each character is not rushed, as well as her learning new emotions and experience
I love the blond ml, also the female leadshe isn't perfect but shes not useless either and the pacing of the story is chief kiss, I was taking the priest side a bit yea sure she do gotta return his feelings but I thought he atleast didn't want her to die but when she said she killed for him too it made sense he's trashy trash, imma let it marinate a bit tho ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Idk but I feel like they're trying too hard to make this psychological, dont get me wrong I love the plot but it feels like its all over the place and not in sync( ̄∇ ̄")
I feel like that’s better than glazing over concepts that need to be thoroughly dissected in order to be understood, no? we can’t really understand MC’s logic, reasoning, initiative, execution, without knowing the insecurities and emotions she chooses to hide from even herself, Its as if we’re uncovering her trauma along with her, but I get that maybe it’s more than what a typical reader of this genre signs up for, but I think its better for the author to aim for psychological than to just leave us wondering why MC is making certain unreasonable decisions. Though I do understand your point that it does get unexpectedly intense and overly complex at random moments (which would cause it to appear not in sync) but I believe it’s a realistic portrayal of PTSDヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ all love tho
