Oh Inseop is acting very different from what we have seen so far. I think it can be attributed to the fact that he encountered a situation he had never faced before. All his crimes before this were executed perfectly, but now he is at the risk of losing her. Like dude has been creepy-smiling throughout the whole things, up until now :)
Also does anyone know where we can read the official?
While it's true that Oh Inseop has been scheming in hindsight, there has always been something wrong from the beginning. Her work, her brother, her cousin,...even her attitude, there's a problem with all of them.
It's more reasonable to say that her life has been fucked up all along and that allowed Inseop to utilize them. He took something bad and made it worse literally
I have been wondering where the author is trying to go with this story, as enticing as it is.
It's obvious that mc has been the prey for her whole life, so it's a given that she is very sensitive toward "predator". She understands that those predators lack anything remotely relate to love or empathy.
While she hasn't discovered Inseop's true nature, I think she can sense that he is one. That would explain why she see him as a mantis, and feels abhorrent when he speaks of love.
Also, we are given a glimpse of what she did as child, the scene where she killed the mantis. That's probably a premonition that she will eventually kill Inseop, or at least be the one stopping him.
Let's gooo doom romance brr brr brrrr
I don't have prob with incest but I surely wasn't expecting that in a manhwa like this (゜o゜)
It's a wall of text but hear me out.
I consider fiction to be a realm with no boundary, which include ethic and taboo stuffs. It's a dangerous place, but also the one with most freedom. Hence the readers are those who need to be careful and be aware of what they're getting into (that's why many stuffs need warnings at the beginning).
It's just my opinion, but freedom is not to be full if there are still restrictions. We need those in real life as we have a physical impact on others, but in fiction it is a safe place to release the primitive desire without the filter of ego and superego.
Well I agree on with you on this. The choice of making Oreum had feeling for her uncle was bad. It's just kinda out of nowhere and forcing, a terrible deus ex machina.
And to make it worse, Binee just has to be so understanding for her. With respect to the fact that it's taboo in the story, Binee's action gave me an uhhh...yeah... disappointed.

Honestly I don't think there's romantic attraction between them. Inseop is obsessed with her, but in the way that he wants to make her his possession I'd say. And by possession, I think he wants to make her succumb to believing that she belongs to him, starting by crushing the belief that she can get the upper hand in anything. It's quite clear what he's doing, and I saw ppl saying that she shouldn't be shaken, but I think it's necessary to rmb that mc is actually a normal human trying to go against a freaking psychopathic killer. And she has already suffered from him plenty, she is constantly stressing out, walking on eggshell, and she has to try and interpret every single actions he does.
For some reasons, I think she won't kill him, maybe she will inflict a kind of mental torments that torture him forever, that seems like a way better end for him, befitting a manipulator toying with ppl's minds
I agree with you 100%
YESS I think that it's even more explicit when Inseop brings her closer and both don't show any kind of warmth and no sexual tension towards each other. Honestly, I think Inseop is trying to see if HE is attracted to her in that way too, not only as an obsession. In earlier chapters when she asks him if he liked her he didn't have an answer and even reflected on it. But now he sees that's not the case. he is also upset with her about it. Like, "she doesn't see me that way, so it's harder to manipulate her"
at least that's how I'm interpreting this.
ALSO he is clearly upset of how things turned out, he got what he wanted (her being in his house) but she is not there willingly, she knows everything and isn't quiet about it
Inseop most likely has antisocial disorder, he probably cannot even produce what we call love. What he feels for her is different from what he feels for his objects he said it himself that it was the first time he felt like that, but this is the closest his mind can achieve to produce such feeling. Also Inseop ace asf.
ATE ATEEE, EXACTLY
