Maybe, but I like that the author didn't drag it out. The plot & other's storylines are already so complicated, and now we know the npc can be trained/used, so if they chose to focus on the memory loss arc, I think that would've been a boring choice
yea i agree prolonging the memory loss arc would be annoying when it already felt a little cliche
I agree that the memory loss arc had to come to an end, i just wanted a bigger moment or a smarter revelation
To be fair, he's still missing memories from his earlier plays! And as we've seen, playing too many tapes has an effect on people (even npcs if we're theorising that Bada IS one). So maybe this initial "memory loss" is more of a way for the author to introduce the concept of npc's having multiple tapes, what Bada reverts to when he has zero tapes etc. I'd argue there couldn't be a smarter revelation cause we now know
1. How Bada looks as an NPC
2. Npcs also bleed from multiple tapes
3. Npcs (aside from Bada) can be interacted with, change behaviour etc
