I freaking love this novel. I was just randomly scrolling trough the new manga and had to hit the breaks when I spotted this. I have always wanted this to be translated.
Did I miss something where did the little pig tailed girl come from.
She was abandoned on the island by the church exactly one year after our main char, just as he wanted to leave the island with his raft.
Afterwards he decided to stay on the island and take care of all the children that will be abandoned in the future. That's why he only left for a short time to get more resources.
Ahh I think I might have missed that chapter then because I don't remember that I guess I'll reread it then.
So far this has been pretty close to the novel but I'm wondering why they made Constantine the dark mage when it was the other dude (what ever his name was that wanted his daughter to marry Mikhail) they made him into the reason yuri was turned into a doll so I wonder if they are just going to make it constantines fault now?

tbh constantine is a more compelling villain vibes-wise even though the novel version is more of aplot twist
Didn't read the novel but in this adaptation, that other dude, count or whatever, feels more like a small-time villain or a minion. Not a good choice for an impactful villain imo. Idk how he is written in the novel tho.
I was also confused but then I just had my brain work and convinced myself maybe they'll work it out on how they're gonna execute the changes in the story hahaha
