Maybe you should switch genres. Honestly! Even just temporary. I did that too just recently. I was sick of that usual 'uke/fmc gets laid in first chapter' trope. I get the feeling that these days Yaoi and Josei is the hotpot genre for sex and SEX only. There are very little stories that focus on the plot among those genres meanwhile in shounen ai, shoujo ai, shoujo or only romance etc. it's mostly without the explicit scenes and because of that the focus lies more on the content of the whole story. As if the author NEEDS to have a great plot for ppl to read it because there's nothing else like bare skin to earn the attention with. It's simple purification if you ask me, when you read those "pure" genres sometimes. At least I'm convinced that's what I need once in a while to clean my mind from that dirty adult stories. (I still like those, don't get me wrong :P but it's a shame that they are so sexified these days!!!)

The first sex scene thats like a full chapter and not just a flash back or quick thing isn't until chapter 28. To me that's a normal amount of explicit scenes. I'm not caught up to where it's at rn but season 1 had maybe max 5 full out explicit scenes and those weren't until the end of the season. It's def more sex than my other recommendations but I wouldn't say all sex.

Honestly if it gets too smutty after season 1 I think the ending of season 1 is enough to find as a happy concussion/end point depending what you want out of the story.

BTW full moon alchemist was TOTALLY AMAZING and it has become one of my favorites!!!
