I just listened to a podcast of this book and there's a Red Room in there as well. Everything in that room is painted red. From the floors, walls, and all the way to the ceiling. Then each side of the walls has a painting of women covered in bruises which signifies domestic abuse. I was wondering if the room in this manhwa was influenced by the same room from this book. Creepy...

I don't remember if this was in the manhwa already, but it was mentioned in the novel that during a Christmas gathering of their family and relatives, they were talking about something then the topic shifted to Yohan (or it was his turn to say something??) then Yohan just said that he was gay out of spite or just because he finds it interesting. Go Rosa then said that Go Yohan was completely crazy and their father was angry about that. So it was true that Yohan did say that he was gay. But he didn't have any past relationships or anything, Kang Jun bent him! It was mentioned in the side stories, Yohan's POV muhehehe.
Also, in the past, Yohan being Yohan, he was already kinda rebellious and doesn't really hold back. Iirc, it was in middle school and he got into a fight with his classmate who was a son of someone in a high position (mayor or something). Yohan punched the guy and he was hospitalized. The fight reached the parents and they had an agreement. This was the reason why Yohan's family moved houses. Then Yohan said that that classmate was able to stay because his parents care for him more, while they have to move because his parents don't really care about his reputation or care enough about him to fight and stay there and so on. Another reason, why his father is probably angry. But all I remember about his father is that he really is just indifferent.
Continuing with the story, Kang Jun was having a hard time because he was at the bottom of the pyramid and Yohan was ignoring him. I think he was also being bullied (I skipped over some texts because I couldn't bear to read Yohan ignoring him lololol). Then this one classmate, Jaehyun, was the only one who sometimes helped him and didn't completely ignore him. Kang Jun felt grateful to him and considered him kinda like a friend. He thought that that was probably how Taesan felt about him before when he was being bullied. But this guy said not to expect too much of him cause he only did it to feel good about himself. Kang Jun didn't mind though cause he still helped him.
Then this one guy in Yohan's circle, I forgot his name but he was the one desperate to be something big in school. He used to hang around Junwoo (was that his name? Kang Jun's first love), then now leech off Yohan. He doesn't like how Yohan treats them like they are below him. He is envious of Yohan because he is rich, powerful, famous, handsome etc. He wants to bring Yohan down, so he blackmailed Kang Jun and also kinda talked him out about getting back on Yohan. The plan was they will invite Yohan in an empty room where the guy was already waiting in hiding with his phone to record things. Then Kang Jun will confess to Yohan (???), basically the plan was to make Yohan out himself and let the whole school know that he is gay. (He kinda caught up about Kang Jun liking Yohan or Yohan liking Kang Jun?? I don't remember well.)
Kang Jun agreed, but when they were in the room, he flipped everything around. He honestly told Yohan that that guy was scheming behind his back. So Yohan got mad and beat the guy, but he also felt good because Kang Jun was honest with him. Then when the rumours surfaced, it became about that guy having a crush on Yohan and being gay. The guy couldn't bear the consequences of the rumours and he stopped coming to school, I think he was also suspended or he did drop out.
Because of this Yohan and Kang Jun kinda reconciled I think. Then on the day of graduation, before the ceremonies start, they were alone in the classroom and confronting each other, Kang Jun plans to confess but he was scared of Yohan's reaction, so he just said some things then kiss Yohan quickly on the lips then he ran away
I would've eaten this up if I was still in highschool, but the script direction is just too corny im so sorry
This needs to get serialized. The concept is very unique
I swear Deulsum (Reunion Artist) and Park Nodeok are the best artists when it comes to creating atmosphere and mood in their works. I just get so emotional from some of their panels out of nowhere

So ML is alive but suicidal in prison and has been making many attempts to kill himself so he's cuffed 24/7. Seems like he's also blind now due to him needing to learn Braille. A new teacher, which looks like the MC, was introduced to him as his Braille teacher and ML began trauma-dumping to him instead of his usual antics of making a ruckus, as if he has calmed down now. Could this be the result of him being familiar with the teacher's voice? Anyone else thinks otherwise?
The story is getting good and you can't change my mind. It's not romance, it's thriller. Romance tag is there officially just for marketing and sales. Raws are in climax, and I don't think it's gonna end well for the Seme
Y'all there's a chasing arc after 40 chapters. Then somewhere in there, Seme fucked up big time (Chapter 67). Moving forward is definitely redemption arc. Might take a while though, who knows
