Ehhhh idk about this redemption arc after seeing his backstory only being him becoming a asshole after sex and treating doc like he was nothing and DOC is also at fault currently for allowing him to give that apology and just accepting it without anything else being said so i feel like this story is extremely rushed and not well put together as much as bj alex was
This redemption arc is weak. The apology has to be stronger than the abuse to make it work. And it’s not. It is not strong enough. However, I guess it falls in line with his character. You can’t just 180 a personality. It’s too off putting. But the author should have figured out a series of things ML could do that leads up to this apology.
She should have watched Avatar and studied Zukos arc
this author either doesn't understand the weight of jaekyung actions or doesn't consider that readers would find them so impactful. we also have to consider the difference between us and korean readers. for the digital manhwa market, the opinion of koreans will carry more weight. if the author and the audience that will financially support the manhwa believe that this redemption is enough, then it says more their society than about the author's ability to construct a redemption arc

They did not die in the ice water but as you most likely know if not sorry for the spoiler Jooha did loose his memory but in the first few chapters when Doosik was in the tide Jooha pulled him back up so me personally I feel like he probably pulled him back up from the ice water after they kissed
