I also think the same way.. sometime when I go out,eat, watching movie at cinema, shopping and all of that activity alone people will give me a look.. and some of them will laughing while saying I'm loner and said maybe because I have attitude problem that's why no one want to be my friend. but it because I need some space for myself, I got friend but they also got their own commitment and not always free like me..so yeah when we grow older being alone is better too which mean we know about ourself more then others which mean u feel more comfortable and at ease. also another reason when I meet new people it hurting me because they only find me when they need me and ignore me when I need them. better stick together with who always there for you, at least a message and call to ask about their health and news. when we grow old we tend to think what are most important thing to us and we will start to avoid thing that will hurt us.
For me, it's just easier and less stressful.
