TJ and Ian are like two peas in a pod, for me. TJ loves Ian, yes but he's unable to ignore his gang life so he literally passed the chance to be with Ian. And Ian, god, why he just keeps f**cking both of the guys. At first, we see an Ian who wanted to back away from his past and find solace in Joseph. But then the author had him come back to TJ time and time again and portrayed his lingering for TJ? For 75 chapters, he just keeps leading J on. Having sex with him like he's the only one? That makes me so frustrated, what's he doing is unfair to both the guys and the author needs to realize that making Ian horny restricts his growth really.
imo the back and forth is imp cuz it shows that it isn't that easy for ian to move on from tj. they've been together for 19 years, if ian just moved on quickly right after he met Jo that would've been stupid and unrealistic. u need to remember tj and ian are in a toxic codependency cycle - their whole rs is built on their shared trauma. and also - they way I see it, ian uses sex as a coping mechanism. he has been raped, and right from the beginning we see him having multiple one night stands. there are 2 seasons left, it's definitely gonna take time for him to move on and become stable

That is a valid take, I gotta admit. It takes 2 whole ss to unfold his trauma so I hope the remaining two can really solve the problem. Maybe I just need sth like Ian admit his trauma bonding with TJ or his toxic coping mechanism. One character has the same setting but better development is Yashiro from Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai and I think that's why I get annoyed with how Ian is portrayed because I have seen how he could have been better explored through Yashiro

SAEZURU TORI WA HABATAKANAI MENTIONED okay but I do agree w u there, I rly enjoy this manhwa but at times I do feel like some things could be written / portrayed better. my main prob isn't w ian though, it's with Jo. like I get it he's the better option, I've long accepted that, but I feel like it's so unrealistic for a normal guy like him to just fall head over heels for someone he RECENTLY met, to the point that he's ready to kill someone for him. I feel like there could be more depth to his character than just being the nice guy, but I also think that we're gonna get that development this season.
It's about a makeup artist and a struggling model. They met through a mutual friend. It's unfinished, around 2 chapters if I remember correctly and the art is really beautiful. Thanks in advance
