Despite the fact that his scheming used to end up thinking that if he continues on with his schemes he'll end up being the villain.
Bacause that is how stories often progress, right?
The MC ends up choosing the commoner or underdog and the Duke's son that like to scheme ends up crazily fixated on the MC's relationship and tries to break them apart.
So I like that Jay is the end game.
Plus, the moment Lisa(Jay's sister) and Ian met... I knew they would make a great match. Both of them like Selene too much. Hahah
