The difference between the female and male fashion style in this manhwa really bothers me. I never expect historical accuracy from works like this, but the clothes FL wear are sooo much modern than the ML's or the mens. The men wears clothes reminiscent from 1900s-1920s, but FL's fashion are at least from 1930s. FL's sillhouette is too cinched, while at the very least it should be a bit looser and flowy.

Even the way she accesorizes herself feels too modern, like she wears satchel/sling bags! It didn't exist until 1940s thanks to the military utility, a more appropriate choice would be like a mid-size handbag.

Because all of the assets used here are medieval or like victorian era, and even the men's fashion match that, FL's dress really stood out to me and I couldn't help but keep noticing it every chapter.

I like both couples! The second couple doesn't seem like the type who would go together, but I understand where they came from.

The art reminds me of Scarlet Beriko's.

I was skeptical at the beginning since the art style is really distinct and the age gap was big as well...

But it's a good story, and I like that both of them are good and decent people.

I wish there were extra chapters. I feel like there is more to see from Yama and Dongbaek (the red hair goblin) as well as Moon Hoseung (the supernatural guy from the previous life). Whatever happened to him? I guess it was implied that he was Eunjae's dead dog but was he really? Was San his descendant? (As Geumsun told him there was only one other person with supernatural power as strong as his).

And what happened with Chungin?? (The northerner healer goblin). He was hinted having a crush on Yama in the beginning but then he suddenly disappeared. I like his character as well, I thought he was Dongbaek's dead brother (was he not?)

But at least the two main couples are happy. Geumsun frustrated me big time–he's sooo bad at communicating and figuring things out (granted he's "only" 30 years old but you think he'd know better). And it doesn't help that 704 wasn't even emotionally stunted, he doesn't have the ability to feel emotions to begin with. Kudos to 704 for stepping up and figuring the complicated situation out.

And San, San is so baby. Idk I feel like gentle puppy seme is quite uncommon so I really like him as a character. Eunjae is a relatable one as well, mature and realistic.

Two consentual adults who didn't want to be lead solely by bodily instincts (very rare for an omageverse story). I like how very self-aware and grounded both of the main characters are.

I need next chapter

One of the isekai OGs, so it feels cathartic finally finishing this. You don't see a lot of works where you can tell the art improved by the end, usually it's the opposite. And the story stayed true to the tea theme so no complaint from me on that part. Also the emperor is just so fineee.

My only complaint is that I wished there's some depth to the prince's character. I couldn't help but think that he's there just to make Alphonse look better as the ML. He's already super green flag so I don't see why we have to have a romantic rival. The prince is obviously intelligent, so what I hoped went down instead is that he accepted his mistake and tried to mend his relationship with his romantic partners, and better yet supported these women to make their own independent decisions.

And as much as Chloe was so progressive with her tea ideas and also her business acumen, in the world where patriarchy was still rampant, it doesn't really seem to affect the society more than the capitalistic economy aspect of it. We get it, Chloe is the IT girl, but I wish her influence also helped other women and girls not in her circle too, not just limited to tea stuff.

Does anybody notice the juxtaposition of him wanting to live an ordinary life and the extraordinary things happening around him? He really wants to be average but it's slowly getting revealed that none of the people near him is. His father has a strong connection with a chaebol family, his mother is daughter of a falsely accused traitor, her sister has supernatural ability, his dog is intelligent, not to mention the weird shadow that he has... I'm very curious about the sound he hear when he regressed in the beginning and if it's the same voice/universe as what his sister hears.

Oof I'm curious about what's going on with Woo Minjae. Anyway it's a good read, I really like Kwon Heechan as a character.

What a shame that this got dropped. But it's a really good read through and through.

Also Shingo is one hell of a gentleman that is rare to see these days. Communicative, warm, polite, receptive and sensitive to Taki's feelings. Also he always try to comfort and validates Taki's insecurity. I'd choose someone like him over the stoic cold type of ML any day.

Maybe I went with too high of expectation and didn't have the right mood when reading this but I didn't feel the intense emotions that others did.

To start, I will give this 5/5. It's a solid read overall. But the characters are always drawn so pretty and perfectly, that I failed to immerse in their emotions sometimes. With this kind of stories it's important to be able to convey nuanced and complex expressions, but many times I feel like the intended feelings didn't get conveyed properly and the expressions were stiff and bland. Like when Yoonsung got slapped, it should have been the climax moment when the family understood he's been hurting, but his expressions didn't convey that great of emotional pain. Or when the SIL finally apologized to Hakyung, I didn't feel satisfied because it almost felt like a half-hearted apology.

The conflict resolution also felt very anticlimactic because of it. Like they lied to ML for years, to the point of fabricating a newspaper article, then everything gets resolved because the mother suddenly throw a tantrum on a random dinner? How did that came from, when she almost never had an interaction with her son? And then suddenly the father was okay with it too the moment he saw the video from grandpa? And what happened with Gijun's sister? We never saw her again after she got drunk that one time.

I also wish we know what Yoonsung was thinking beyond just the flashbacks, like give us his inner voice! We know Hakyung's inner turmoil and conflicting feelings, but we know almost nothing about YS other than he's this greenflag yearning guy who loves HK. What made him fell in love? What did he like from HK?

Also +1 to the other comment who said there were conveniently too many accidents in this comic
