I've been reading some confusion on the ending and found a spoiler.
Honestly, I feel for the ending. Not all stories have to end on a good note. Some characters are just meant to be trapped. Trapped in obsession and trapped in a broken life. Not everyone can be redeemed.
Giving up and feeling numb are also relatable. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
