I'll be honest with you, that was the same reason I didn't want to admit to myself that I'm rooting for Takuto. But you know what, who cares? I actually like all three of them, it's just that he's more exciting to me, compared to the other characters. And I'm always for the new beginning, especially in this kind of situation.
We all know how complicated and toxic relationship between Haesoo and Joowon is. Maybe Taku is there only as a bridge to connect them and help them to solve their problems and move on as a couple or he is there to break that cycle and help them move on with their lives separately. No matter what, it's a painful process and we Taku lovers have to be patient and endure all of that..
But one thing is for sure, no matter what the outcome will be, Haesoo will never forget Taekyung. He will definitely have a special place in his heart, because he will help Haesoo change his life for the better.

One more thing, in ch 21.5, author stated that Taekyung is also a main character! He's no less important than Joowon and Haesoo ;)

I know...and on top of that all, these Joowons hate us with such a passion, a lot of them even don't like Haesoo...
But they will probably get what they want at the end, their ship is sailing from the very beginning.
Let us at least enjoy our ship no matter how little chance we have :/
