Its not if you change the characters and how they act in the story so badly that ppl argue about the differences between them its not the same story lol the manwha is INSPIRED by the novel not the complete same. So many ppl agree its not like the novel and so many things are missing or not mentioned at all.
But they are the manhwa isn’t inspired by the novel it’s an adaptation . The characters haven’t been changed nor the story been changed to the point of no recognition . A manhwa failing to have the same tone and detail from a novel doesn’t automatically make it an entire different story . People agree it’s not similar to the novel in a way scenes have been rushed , not going into detail and missing a lot of internal monologue, not that the characters are completely different and how they act

Biology doesn’t work like that. I agree step sibling relationships are iffy, but that is not incest. The reason why incest has been a taboo is because children of closely related couple have higher risk of genetic sickness. Step sibling are not related (except for on paper).
