Krav Maga is not respected widely because the purpose of it is to incapacitate and kill their opponents in the least amount of moves possible. Can't have people Killin other people in martial arts tournaments now can we? There were a misunderstanding.. Hess sitting by the balcony with like empty eyes.. Kael was sooooo shocked and thought Hess wants to off herself.. Because maybe she misunderstood him still having feelings for Diana (yes Hess did think Kael can't get over Diana and have at least some sort of affection for his 1st love,but no Kael does not think so and at this point he thinks of them as nuisance that is jeopardising his happy marriage life by involving/depending on him to clean their shit again like he did before their marriage when he killed that criminal noble cz Helios is too politically coward and Diana end up stabbing him with accusations of him being cruel when he just punish the noble as he deems suit cz everyone is overcomplicated things)... So anyway, because of this incidents he asked Hess to move to his territory that was far away from the capital, away from those overgrown babies that needs babysitting(I think that place they were making soaps).. At least one of the baby is taking baby steps in taking his position/responsibility seriously.. That other one.. Lost cause..

I read the novel third time. At the moment of the heat it is understandable that people mad at Kael. But once you understand him more you will see why he did the things he did and also he doesnt have any feelings left towards Diana. He is not hating her. He is just empty towards her. When Hestia cannot do something bcz she made a mistake Kael will step up and save her and let her get what she wants. But Kael doesnt want revenge at all. He just want to get away from diana dont think about her. He loves his country he is a responsible man. Kael already know even if they dont do something diana's fall is certain. So when people decide diana's dethrone and Kael says he will not dethrone her not bcz he is trying to save diana but bcz he doesnt want a political weakness in the imperial family. It is just not the right time they just fixed a political issue and now an empty seat of empress will only get more chaos. Hes gets angry bcz Hes still think herself as different from others. This world still a novel to her not reality. She needs to have some goal so she can focus on that and thinks if she finishes that goal she can return. But that is not the case at all. Kael tells her that she shouldnt live for him or get revenge for him. Hestia's first priority should be herself. That is also one of the reasons why Kael giving up on revenge. Bcz he realized the only thing in Hestia's mind is revenge for Kael. But Kael wants her to think future. A future together. Kael is not a person who holds grudges. Helios apologized sincerely and diana well she did too but for Hes that wasnt enough but Kael said it is enough i dont wanna see her anymore etc. Bcz we see everyhting from Hes POV we know how she struggled. She is victim. But Kael also victim too. And She is doing thing bcz of Kael and Kael says that is enough for me they broke up, Diana saw the bottom etc.
Well the thing Kael did wrong is he didnt worded well while telling Hestia why he will not dethrone Diana. Hestie misunderstood and get depressed. Helios will come and tell Hestia that he begged to Kael. Also bcz of political issues.

So Kael didnt betrayed Hestia. He actually give her a reality check. Showed her this is her reality now.
