I know this story is about regret BUT COME ONE. the regrets here are dumb and stupid, also very HORRIBLE. they only started to be more interested in her when she was acting different from a baby. Half blood, bastard child BLAH BLAH BLAH. child neglect is no joke
exactly. I hate this genre where the love only comes after the child or baby starts acting like a genius or someone "worthy of love"
Tbh the only real regret in the story is Hela's regret of giving so much to people who would betray her. There is no regret when it comes to murder, hurting others, child neglect, etc. We really don't have righteous characters in this story. And the only reason the Klaune's have come to care for Selina so much is due to how problematic she has been. If she had been a genius but not caused any issues, they would've never even looked her way (that's how the baby died in the first place). And that's how the plot has been driven since the beginning. The characters were only able to bond and grow attached to each other because of their flaws.
