I remember when this first came out the story was so hard to follow but know that’s it’s been a few years and my attention span is better I re read that and I have to say this story is so is so compelling. The story is actually so interesting and complex and full of suspense of twists and turns. Season 1 is definitely better than season 2 but season 2 still had its merits and I liked how secondary characters got more screen time and purpose while cultivating the relationship between Heeseo and Taekyung. The biggest plus point I have to say is the mystery crime elements of the plot and the emotional dependency turbulence of the main couple’s relationship. Tbh the smut is secondary to me, the dynamic has the potential to be hot but the smut is just eh. It feels like it doesn’t fit with the tone and characters, it’s too hardcore for such a clean art style and the characters are too complex for such yaoislop esque smut. Overall great read tho. Some smut scenes are good esp in season 1 season 2 is eh. Too yaoisloppy for me but the plot is chefs kiss
