had great potential and was an interesting read, but ending was rushed and I hated it

I got so lost after he started fighting the fat dude that killed his parents. He was about to lay the smack down on him but he was like fuck it it's cool if I die then some other dude that looks like him but with freckles is the new guys now and he doesn't even have the same name??? What happened with revenge with his family or that orb ghost guy and the battle they were having like wtt
