to love a backstory that is nearly longer than the main story! amazing, im so invested and we can finally understand why dohun is the way he is, same for yuwon.
i fear a sad ending but i can only hope for a happy one with both of them. i wonder what will happen when we go back to the present story.
i felt #maternal towards young dohun LOL i hope we get so many more chapters and that this series does not end soon. i binged this in 2-3 days, not my record but i was mostly just reading this after midnight for a couple hours before going to sleep.
before the backstories, seeing dohun smile so eerily creeped me out. his eyes as well, he is quite expressionless, especially his eyebrows (who am i to judge though, i suffer from being majorly expressionless as well). i would actually curl up in bed at night and tuck my feet into the blanket when there were any creepy panels haha. multiple times i even had to quickly turn around because i thought something’d be there.. this is one of my top manhwas T_T
came into this for a surface level pleasure-purpose read but ended up with a hurting heart at the end. i feel so confused, happy for wookyung, yet sad and just generally upset for minho. i wish we had a part two and we could see them eventually get along and love eachother.
agh… i actually almost teared up for minho when he did that while wookyung slept as someone who also attempted (also while family slept!). i feel i know how he felt before and during his attempt. i know how relieved he felt to wake back up and see the world still as it was, feeling peace. but i feel so sad that minho feels just so empty, depressed, and has no one and nothing to look forward to. his empty face makes me so sad. it might just be a manhwa but i’ve never felt this strongly when reading a manhwa, it might be the first time.
doesn’t help sad Pierce The Veil songs were playing while i was reading lol (and right now a song called “The most beautiful sickness in the world” by 0.8Syooogeki which also happens to have an ominous or unsure vibe to it)

why does he have a few cuts on his arm, did i miss something?
i’ve seen them multiple chapters back and they have focus on them, i dont recall any lore on them being shown
