I’ll try not to judge too much because it’s only one chapter but…I see a lot of people are not feeling this theme. It’s fine that she wants to write a story that has slaves but I think to avoid backlash she should have made it fictional like other stories. Why didn’t she make it like the other stories with kings empresses dukes slaves etc? With fictional countries and fictional races too. Seems like she really wanted to do cowboy theme but even then you can create your own world and still use cowboys, slaves, young master, etc.
I read so many other stories with the same themes but FICTIONAL. It would have been nice if she did the same but maybe there is a reason she didn’t and wanted her story based on reality…we will just have to continue reading and see? I hope to not be disappointed but idk.

Monetarily reasons. And Story is a WebNovel which are NOTORIOUS for being slow and dragging bc authors post a chapter once a week and often it's just one conversation or part 1 of a chapter or scene cut in 5 parts. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Monetarily because authors do this for long term income with minimum effort strategy. its the most profitable strategy. They drop 10 - 15 chapters all at once at the start of the serie, once they hooked an audience willing to read crumbs-chapters a month, they start dragging the story.... The funny part of this webtoon adaptation is that author & artist shorten the chapters and it still come across as slow paced.
Sei really didn’t have anyone. Her mom was gone, and then her brother became cold towards her, she didn’t even have Woori because her brother pushed him away and threw away that bag, she didn’t understand why her brother started treated her badly. So she has to lie at school about her life just to not become an outcast, sad.
She was extremely young when all this happened so it kinda warped her mind to put a lot of the blame on her brother, but he was dealing with the loss of his mother and having to become head of their household with no help, he became just like his mother but instead of killing himself his mind put all the blame on Nam Woori and he would one day kill him, which is CRAZY btw. Just imagine how broken is mind must have been to be triggered seeing Woori again after like 10yrs and decide to kill him out of jealousy. I know Nam Woori had a mouth on him and was insensitive but damn. It’s good he realized during the current timeline that he has been unjustly hating Woori all this time. He’s a good kid always thinking of his sister too.
Both are not bad people, they just need guidance and safety, the person to give them that has become Woori who has lived multiple lives so he has become wiser. He’s like a parent these days isn’t he lol.
Wow didn’t expect the love and deepspace works at the end of chapter 14, amazing stuff.

I think Seonu will forgive crazy ass Sion. He still feels bad for Sion because his father beats him. He felt guilty leaving Sion to deal with the teacher even after everything…
But let’s be honest, Sion is an irredeemable bastard. Being an illegitimate child and your father slapping you around a bit is just so we can feel bad for him but I don’t care tbh. And that famous singer is clearly Sion’s older sister. He should just message his sister and she can help him move out or something, he said they don’t get along tho haha.
