It's so simple it's almost dumb how this story is written. So not only is the prince an utter coward, he's also a psychopath. Even if her grandfather had really committed treason, what does that have to do with her. It's almost as if the blonde prince knows she has nothing to do with anything that happened to his mother, and instead of going to the source of his misery, he uses the fl as a scapegoat to dump all his rage on. I mean, he's a coward of the highest order masquaerading around as this cleaver, intelligent Prince which he isn't. What makes it worse is that he has no smoke for his father, the current queen, or his siblings, but a girl who was imprisoned in her own home is definitely the easiest target right? Jesus, I mean not only is he pathetic, but he's damn lazy as well. Coupled with the fact that no one is her past life did anything to help her including her current love interest, if I were her I'd spit in all their faces as well.

The grandfather didn't comit treason. He was framed by that sick bastard (ch 38 a knight - Sir Gallon /he tried to avenge FL in first TL/ - heard out his father and the CPs talk, the mom and FL was only alive because that sick trash had another plan in mind aka making their life hell).
Felix's mother blamed MCs mother and MC for her own misfortune - literally everything - (and ML doing the same)
- Felix father loved MLs mother but the status difference was too much, so he was forced to marry Felix mother. Mom was like "my husband don't love me this is MCs family fault"
- The mother father and bro died in war, was and somehow MCs grandfather had hand in it - maybe their counry was in war each other it could be somehow the granpa's fault, we don't know yet
She was like "why can MC and his mom have everything, why are they living happily?! They shuld be miserable just like me." He is like I'm ruining you, because my life is miserable - he making his own life miserable, his family would love him and seriously neither of his brother having any desire to the throne. He basically spent 12 year to ruin MCs life, and she basically didn't even know who he was. (ch 35).
And what he did with the second Prince in the first TL, he just killed of his Love jut ruin him, so he doesn't have a chance to ascend to the throne.

Honestly, this takes the cake with being one of the worst manhwas I've ever read. The father is not only a self pitying tyrannical fool, he also admits that he is aware of his daughters treatment and yet does nothing as if a few compliments means much. On top of that, the girl is five years old and doesn't have a name. Wtf is that all about? So, he's a damn deadbeat, and he's a piss poor king. He claims to be so smart, but refuses to clean house and just lets his consort do whatever and threatens her as if that will do or has done anything. He would have been better off killing her and her maids in one swoop. At least then I could respect this poorly written character.
Yeah it's so frustrating. Like isn't it emblematic of a weak patriarch if you can't get your house in order and one of your mistresses is trying to kill off your own flesh and blood? Weird ass man
It seems Korean manhwas lack any sort of creativity except in the visual department, because this is just another isekai story with the same old tropes. They might have made it interesting with the parallel world, but it's not really a parallel world if only the FL is different while everyone else is the exact same. That's not really a parallel world then. They absolutely could have made it a true parallel world and it would have made things a little more challenging for the FL, it would have show cased her smarts in being able to adapt and bend to a completely alternate world, but of course they got lazy. The only creative part they seem to use over and over again is the slave trope, and honestly it's getting old.Applying real world racist tropes to a fantasy historical manhwa is pretty lazy, and in fact racist if you keep using the same template of brown skin and slapping on the title of barbarian. Some of these manhwas they produce including this one have a real chance to be different, and unique but they are anything but that when they keep writing the same thing over and over again just with different faces, and names. I don't have high expectations of this already predictable manhwa.
