They call it the tail of the villain, they weren’t joking. He is truly heartless. He truly needs the energy that bad to live and he’s already noticed that wearing the kid out or that his emotion is tied to his energy. He should’ve figured out that the more happier and pleasant mood, the kid is in the more energy he gives off and at this rate what happens to him if he doesn’t get the energy he needs does the mountain die and vice versa if he’s not careful, he could drain the rainwater completely. I really hope he figures it out in the future and things turned out better.
you destroy his home country and he will look at you the way your mother did as a monster
he killed all his father‘s concubines except for his mother, but his mother was best friends with one of the other women, and he killed her in front of her, and she saw him as a monster from then on. And this guy is talking about wiping out his lovers’s home country so he has nothing to pine over anymore and won’t want to return.
I have seen too many of these. I must just be jaded now. First thing I thought about the phone was that it’s probably tapped and he’s listening in on the other end of the conversations. When It rang I thought it was him about to yell at the kid,not the assistant. And I was thinking hey maybe this guy is finally starting to treat him right realizes he can sweettalk him. You know get more out of them with honey than vinegar but then I remember what the title of this is. He’s just buttering him up before he totally crashes him. oh yeah by the way, you ain’t leaving after four months you’re stuck with me forever.

so I know a lot of people in this comment section is gonna have something to say about this but my point of view from an outsiders perspective, he let his emotions seep into that play. He made someone feel guilty and manipulate them into feeling bad for not outing his sexuality in front of an old friend. Yeah, I understand being jealous that he didn’t tell him anything about himself from his own lips, but that was like he was pressuring him. It was more like he was jealous of the fact that he didn’t announce that they were a lovers, but you can’t be mad at them for not wanting to out their sexuality. he could’ve communicated that with his words instead of letting his emotions seep into that play. It didn’t seem like a play to me at all. It felt like he was punishing him for not getting what he wanted and at the same time making that person feel guilty for not breaking a personal boundary. Sure maybe he could’ve stuck up for him a little more with his friend, but he had every right to keep his secret also at the end where he agrees that it was OK for him to keep his secret, but then to bargain with him that they’d go back to their normal master/servant
relationship if he didn’t out them as lovers was just wrong.
No I agree, they do that a lot in their play and seeing Hoseobs thoughts the entire time not being actually about enjoying the play or anything but rather being feeling guilty or fearful about the relationship, in most of their first time/new thing plays, really sucks. A lot of people champions a good example of a ds relationship because it's not outright rape or abuse, but chapters like this I feel perfectly illustrate how it can begin to descend into abuse, and if it continues (more IRL than the story because the story will probably just never address this and keep going with the same tone) can be very dangerous

Also the lack of discussion about the new plays, and not being able to communicate (or make any eye contact) during them is... The author really just throws all the important consent stuff out the window for an emotionally charged punishment scene
