I get that the author was having health issues. But the pacing was off from the beginning. And the ending is extremely abrupt and disappointing. If dubious/no consent is your thing, I’m happy for you but it was too much for me. 75% of the time, the MC is saying no and stop and the love interest just disregards it completely.
