Or she just followed context before just drawing a conclusion. I mean in my opinion I didn't like how in this life Carcel was a womanizer, after he did all that bs, he had the audacity to wonder why Ines doesn't care and search if she has a lover, then the love story started with Carcel's Lust.

so carcel "cheating" on her doesn't also count then, she literally love bombed him then ditched (this wasn't disclosed on the manhwa) she was also in fact a horrible fiance and manipulated a child while she was mentally and adult woman?? So by your logic carcel's actions are actually justified??

He wants an escape from an engagement with a person who treated him horribly, like ines was on her marriage with the crown prince. How does that differ from eo. The only diff i see is their willingness to commit. Ines willingly married the crown prince and Carcel being forced into an engagement.


(I know that people might not know this but she did love bombed him as a child after picking him as her fiance, then ditched him after completely ignoring him and any of his approaches to her until their wedding. the manhwa erased these parts from the novel)

Ooo I did not know sorry, I haven't read the novel but yea, I do agree tho. I mean personally, I didn't have a huge problem with Carcel's cheating cus the same stuff of what you said. I still didn't like the lust part starting it sorta in the manhwa. But thanks for letting me know lol

I also think the "she was an adult and he was a child" argument needs nuance. Yes, Inés had adult memories, which creates a complicated power dynamic. But she was also someone who was psychologically stuck in a cycle of trauma and trying to escape a future she believed was unavoidable. So she's focused on survival. I sorta read this a while ago so I might be a bit rusty on the whole storyline (specifics/details), I'm not saying it justifies anything but I understand in a way, if I went through all that, I would also become more detached in a way. Also, I lowkey don't wanna re-read, I have a seen a bunch of criticism about Ines, mostly from novel readers, would you tell me some ? ITS OK IF U DONT, I JS DONT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED, ofc other than the ones you mentioned

Hey , j just checked the novel out a bit, and I don't think we can compare my manhwa pov with a novel readers pov. There are so many differences so our opinions might be clashing partly also because you are judging from another POV storyline :). I got spoilers from Reddit btw, didn't read it
