Knowing this dude isn’t an actual rapist but a fictional character makes it easier for me to develop a sense of empathy for him if u get what I mean. And again, I‘m not empathizing his actions but him as a character. I think some of us might relate to his backstory

I remember when I first read this 2022 during summer time thanks to my old online friend who recommend me litc and I became so obsessed that I’d binge read it all day long. It comforted me during times where I was at my lowest that’s I’m so grateful to came across this manwha that brought a smile to my face even when I felt sad. Never have I ever felt so many intense emotions reading a bl manhwa than reading this one. This deserves all the attention it has.

At first I thought Yohan or whatever he’s called would be a narcissist and is planning something evil towards Jun. I could already tell that he knows about Juns sexuality but I thought he just plays along with it and tries to gain power over him by making Jun fall in love with him but I was totally wrong and it all makes sense now. The way Yohan behaved like that and was so possessive towards him was bc he didn’t want to lose Jun since he has attachment issues. For example when Yohan got mad at Jun over a small "rejection" or whatever, was bc he isn’t comfortable with the thought that Jun might not like him or could be annoyed by him - especially since Jun is the only person who really matters to Yohan. Yohan lives in constant conflict with himself and keeps overthinking about Jun, because he’s stuck in a family that doesn’t value him and rejects him. It’s crazy to think about, bc you would never have guessed this from the first chapters. Before we only saw his mask, never what he tried to cover inside of him.
I love how the author wrote the storyline, they‘re a genius. The way I couldn’t see through him in the beginning but after a while everything began to make sense step by step raised my interest in this manhwa bc I’ve rarely read bl manhwas with a plot I would have never seen coming. Anyway.. Idk if it’s js me maybe it was obvious for some of you
