I read this story in a manga that was only one chapter long. I don't know if it was a one shot in a finished manga or a stand alone. It's yaoi. A scientist is left behind on an island because the laboratory is about to get destroyed. There was one colleague that the scientist liked and thought was loved back by said colleague. But It turns out, that was wrong and the colleague convinced the scientist to stay behind and doom himself, along with the lab. It was sort of like a betrayal. Anyways, the scientist then is alone, but a demon like thing was the one who was destroying the lab. It was implied that it was some sort of failed experiment. Then, the demon is about to eat the scientist but declares that he wants to make him his mate instead. So the demon forces himself on the scientist. The next morning, the scientist seems to accept that they are now mates. I forget the rest. Please help me find it again.
