in the raw, sei ALWAYS speaks in formal speech and use watashi (私) to refer himself when he talks to everyone. it's like putting the barrier so aresh ofc doesn't like that XD
then, after aresh asked him that, sei now uses ore (俺), change -sama to -san to be more informal, but still use formal speech when he talks to aresh
