Like i dont understand shes so unconfident all she does is switch sides. One moment shes like “gah, MIL, i will talk back because my husbands life is on the line and i have a way to fix it!!” and then LITERALLY DAYS LATER WHEN THE HARD PART IS OVER she pulls her grubby little ass out of her chair and goes “gah, my husband who loves me and has been saying he loves me every single day is leaving and therefor he must have been lying. i promised to be here when he got back but i guess ill just acknowledge that i lied straight to his face and then leave whatcanyado ╮(￣▽￣)╭?” LIKE YOUR CAUSING SO MANY ISSUES BECAUSE YOUR BACKBONE DOESNT EXIST EXCEPT WHEN ITS CONVIENIENT AS A PLOT DEVICE

thank god they wrapped up the guard bringing up telling him and then her actually telling him within the same 2 chapters i would have kicked and screamed if they dragged that along any farther
