OOT but I hate that society thinks sex ed is all about the bees and the apple?? Whatever they call it. Sex ed can also just teach kids about their private parts, who is allowed to see them (doctors accompanied by parent for checkup reasons) and what to do when assault or something along those lines happen. We shouldn't teach kids to be ashamed of t...... reply
That's a valid feeling btw, I also felt that until my first year in college. Took me a while to learn that most men don't gaf if you're not exceptionally pretty (atleast from my experience). I learned from my extroverted friend that she also had the same phase but gradually learned to talk to them as human beings by practice, little by little. Joki...... reply

Do you perceive other forms of words differently? Like emotionally more warm or cold? Inviting or sarcastic? For example, do you perceive these phrases as different? "Heyy have you eaten yet?" "Hey hv u eaten yet"
Or
"OMG IM SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW" "omg I'm so excited for tomorrow" "omg im so excited 4 tmrw"
Or
"For sureeee I will revise it immediately" "Fs I'll revise it now"
This was a kinda silly question but this is genuinely one of my assignments..
Do you think maybe it's because Different types of words that are capitalized/abbreviated/elongated, Different context, Depends on the sender's personality n habits, Depends on social group (chronically online, etc.), Depends on "our" relationship (we as in sender and reader)
What are some other unlisted factors do you think affect the way you perceive the sender's intention/emotion?
P.S. I didn't have to do this but I did bc i couldn't sleep and this would be great additional evidence to my language class
I'm not here to judge BC I've been that person before for a brief time during my porn addiction phase. But genuinely why do some people expect a story to be yaoi/Yuri just bc there are two people of the same gender..?? Or this works with straight-enjoyers too Ig, why can't some stories be platonic. Sometimes it's sad to see real gem plot lines get no attention because they're not yuri/yaoi/romance or some of the readers just doesn't see the genuine love because they're more focused on finding out whether the story has romance or not.
Asking this bc some people will let this thought escalate into obsession to the point of shipping internet figures and real people in their life.
A little dump abt my previously mentioned phase. I used to think that my life was boring asf af and try to find romance in my daily life in a bad way, to the point of shipping real people around me. But now that I have experienced healthy platonic friendship, romance doesn't seem like the most interesting/important thing in my life. I pray we all get better
