I'm just gonna vent a bit: does anyone else feel their tastes are changing at a rapidly speed? Things that used to excite you does even matter anymore? Am I just growing up and finding out that I do not enjoy anything that I used to? I don't even try keeping up with it as this point I just feel empty. I desperately cling onto my memories of binge watching anime and reading mangas nonstop. Can't seem to find time for it anymore while at the same time I feel like I'm wasting my time doing nothing. Have I outgrown my interest that I used to love and am I left with a big ass void in my soul?? Its probably not as serious as I'm making it but going from a hardcore fujoshi to not even a casual reader makes me feel some type of way . Well any input would be greatly appreciated #-.-)

i used to feel this way around my college days etc. best not to force it, tastes change when you get older. i came back several years later just to read manga from time to time. nothing wrong with that. it's not going to go anywhere when you're in your 30s or 40s. no one's gonna judge what you do during your personal time off. i admit, i don't really have the patience to sit down and watch anime anymore. everyone's going on about boku no hero and i'm so lost haha.

It's just life. I used to read wayyy too much shoujo when I was 10. Then, I got tired of shoujo and started reading WAYYYY too much yaoi as a young teenager. Then I started college and I lost interested (plus I was busy) so I cooled down and only read yaoi every few months or so. Now I'm tired of yaoi and so I mostly read webtoons when I got time. It's just phases you go through in life. It's just like how your taste in music changes with time and how some days you feel like listening to music and some days you don't.

It's like having this favourite food, but then u discover a better one, so u move on to that. If u eat too much of the same food, u grow tired of it overtime, so u either search for a different food or lessen ur consumption of it

    PS: I'm hungry, I'm sorry

i think its normal. i used to obsess over harry potter (novel) in middle school. then change to fashion (high school). now i still keeping my harry potter books and keep thinking on rereading it but it just not my cup of tea anymore. i still buy fashion magazine but it wasnt my priority. i guess i grow up and my attention focus more to necessary things. life is short anyway.
