At first i thought I was going crazy, the MC kept repeating the same thoughts over and over. Is it only me that feels this way.
Secondly, their relationship seems way too unbalanced in a way. Like to me, it seemed like the MC’s lack of experience and low emotional maturity is what helps him be comfortable with his obsessiveness.
It low-key felt weird as hell that everyone was tip-toeing around him finding out he was gay, it felt like he left the ML to handle to all the prejudice from his family and friends. It felt pretty weird that he couldn’t be honest to anyone about their relationship.
Anyways, the story was alright.

In media in general, the MC tends to be designed as an "average" male, which is why they look the same as other protagonist.
Think Kirito in anime, and Jin woo in manwhas. They both generally have short black hair, and black eyes. They're probably very jacked, but you can't see that through their clothes, which makes them look slim and lean. Which I guess is how most asian actually look(?)
So this is not your imagination, you just took notice of a design pattern to attract audience. Congratulations.

This was a fun read it’s really funny, to those complaining about the romance, it’s primarily one sided, and is not taken seriously.
