Honestly I'm not surprised. I've always considered relationships between the supernatural and humans to be doomed by default. Differences in lifespans, differences in morals and inherent power dynamics. That's what usually makes stories like these so interesting to me.
Trying to remember the names of 2 bl manhwas
1. The MC is blind and had white hair I think. I can't remember what he was specifically but he has powers and there's some Buddhist elements in the story. He picks up what he thought was a child but was actually a demon(?) of sorts and he grew up really fast.
2. The second bl has the MC be the companion/bodyguard? To this guy who is the heir of the main family. There are like 7? Branching families or something. The MC is very hot headed and his love interest has long hair. The mc used to have an older sister but she died

Plot wise, I think so. Political thriller (?) is my thing, so if you like that sort of thing you might like Barge In. A word of caution though: there’s consistent, physical and sexual violence in it, and the love interest is not a good person. Like don’t expect flowers and a date from the guy. A lot of the characters in it are not good people.
