The prophecy is reliable due to the fixed observation, so they (the god) can make probability from the activity data that have been gathered (hence the the trust). Is it in essence series of probability from a whole super-super computer? (Idk bruh)
The trimule in other hand is 'a gift of nature from far away place' that can show a dream to the chosen one (why only them), but not with the feature of prophet's prophecy. It is confirmed from another universe, but what's the relation between this and preventing the vision? Which universe? Is it the branched realm of the reality? Or from the stars that had been swallowed by discrepancy?
I'm guessing it can only show it to the chosen one because they're a sort of anchor/pivot point? Like, literally chosen for that, in a way.
And I can only guess something or someone (the god? The god of a ruined universe? Stars swallowed by the discrepancy as you said?) is using the trimule as a sort of "screen" or beacon, and the chosen one as a channel/path so people can somehow gain enough (or any at all) information to prevent them for reaching the same end
Oh oh now that you mention it, all the chosen ones have the characteristic of the system/observer (eye mind etc), that may be the prerequisite to use the trimule. It needs the authority of their reality observer.
To say that trimule as a beacon/screen is still confusing. From what source it gain the data to project the dream? Unless their reality is a loop, and the trimule project the reality where the world had been detached from the observable universe. Then its acts as a beacon/saved data would make sense.
But then, i dont feel this story is a "time-loop story". Everything they do calculated by probability of observation. Well maybe it's a sign to read the novel...
Rather than a loop I feel like it would be something more like different realities going on at different times? Like their timelines running next to each other, not at the same time.
Or maybe even something prophetic, because its connection that you mentioned to characteristics like the mind eye. Sort of like this entity knowing the ruined can happen and using their power (and that connection/characteristic) to let the chosen one "peek" (observe!) into the future they saw/know about. Like those kinds all-knowing but not interfering directly god figures stories sometimes have.
I don't think this is going to be a time loop situation either. Maybe they're even going for a "dungeons are previously ruined worlds" setting, they could even have the previous revenger who went into the black portal alone be the final boss!
