i wish their age gap wasn’t so big i read this in like 6th grade so i guess i didn’t think the age gap was a big deal back then but now that i’m rereading it i’m realizing it was kinda weird. i guess it wouldn’t be believable that he’s a successful author if he was in his early twenties but still, i wish he was younger

Well the age of consent in Japan is 13 y.o compared to 16 in US so... no to say that it isn't creepy but hey it's in a different environment

?? do u srsly go for legal and not moral?? also thats literally only true or 2 prefectures everhwere else it is 18. there is also a loophale law which criminalises it. a 13yo being able to consent doesnt make it legal for an adult to be in a relationship esp a sexual one with a child.
