I'm feeling really sorry for Chase being in the mist at this point. I understand Joshua, but I can't really comprehend the narrative here, or the dialog. They seem to love each other, or at least being quite dedicated and focus to one another for now even thought they haven't explicitly said it and Joshua wanting to end it all after that.
