And the author explicitly said that the new season was going to be very angsty, horror/ dark. i don’t know where the majority of folks got the impression that it was going to be cutesy and fluffy. the entire manhwa always had that dark and complex undertone to it. they definitely were reading with their eyes closed.. （/TДT)/
Angsty, horror, dark & complex story does not equals to rape though? Does it? There are many other ways to write a complex, dark characters without making them rapists. I think that's what readers are trying to convey.
