Yep and now Jin has something to lose. Something that he wants to keep safe and happy. So, that bigger responsibility that could bring trouble is something I feel like they don't need. But if Jin takes it, he needs to let Matthew know and be open. Matthew doesn't have to be a part of things physically, but it wouldn't hurt for him to take on things mentally and emotionally for Jin so he (Jin) won't be carrying everything on his back.
but to think we still didn't know all about matthews past and how actually rich he is, might come to use. They would need it for something.

I do remember him being tired of everything and honestly, from how Jin lives, even though he has a nice place, it's practically empty. Looks like he only has necessities. With how him and his two men lived at the bare bottom of the barrel, I feel like that caused him not to spend money. He never had any so, he never had to spend any. And now that he does have money, he's probably sitting on a pretty penny. He and Matthew can live off that if he truly leaves.....which is why I feel like he can and possibly wants to.
