they grew up as brothers but didn't see each other as brothers. Remember Cherry Blossoms after Winter? Didn't they grew up tgt too but didn't treat each other as brothers? But in this story, they weren't also related by blood (oh how i hope not) and have been hiding their feelings to each other meaning never treated them bros.
And about calling hyung, well ofc hes older so thats normal. There are couples who call their older partner hyung too.
I just really hope they're not blood related. And on their next life, atleast have a normal relationship
