I don't remember how exactly, but I came across a doujinshi for Tiger & Bunny which had a lot of angst in it so it got me curious about the story only to find out that the original Tiger & Bunny isn't even BL. So to fulfill the hole in my heart, I looked for other stories about male lovers, and there you have it.
