Asumiko Nakamura's storytelling range never ceases to amaze me. This story had dark temptations, was hauntingly beautiful, and just... raw. The ending of the story made it difficult to put into words. I just know that it's so good that I return to re-read it every few years. I also love that most of everyone in the comment section suffered and felt the same way albeit expressed in many ways. In a way, we're connected after reading this, even if anonymously, and that's such a human experience. I really appreciate that.
