The novel is amazing. It's a great mix of mystery, fluff, angst, and the ML is such a green flag. If you need convincing w a taste first, start with ch.200 (it's where all the slowburn up to that point boils up and afterwards picks up heat) It avoids all the melodramatic tropes of typical ABO, and instead uses them to push forward plot, world building, and ofc tension btwn the ML n MC. I feel like each heated moment btwn the 2 so far has angst bc (slight spoilers below)
As the MC thinks, "The image of Kishiar in his dream, who had joked with a lonely face, empty as if it had been hollowed out, reemerged. It seemed as if he had just seen what that Kishiar, who had been facing death, had lost." The emotions that runs between the two are DEEP.
