people, im on chapter 27 and i feel im boarding the wrong ship. Could someone tell me who's the real love interest?
...i like tj, yeah.
I mean, i WANTED to board the jo/ian ship at the start, because the fact itself that the story started when they meet was a dead giveaway that it was their story. But tj and ian have so much history and they love each other, so now I feel weird everytime jo and ian share a space.
I like love triangles though, so now that i know this is one, i'll go back reading with a different spirit! Thank you <3
CRYINGGG we're literally the same,, i wanna root for jo and ian so bad but they're like that one picture of white rice w unseasoned chicken breast like. where's the flavour...... & i usually HATEEE toxic characters or stories but imo tjian is one of the better written toxic relationships. also they're gonna delve way more into their backstory too (happens around chap 50 i think) so hold on for more heartbreak !!!! but yeah i'll hold ur hand if they're not endgame </3 & yw <3
.
As someone who got curious and read the novel, this is... quite the story.
I do like black flags but i didn't find this story well written at all. It even has random twincest at some point, like, okay, i guess? I laughed my lungs out at that. The uke only wants to be loved back and that's it. The only thing the seme is required to do in order to keep the uke by his side is to confess his love and even then he doesn't say i love you first. Everything is excused in the name of love. I especially got angry at the fact that it's stated that the seme never lied to the uke, while it's simply not true.
I just wish this had some quality writing. It had potential but in light of the ending too many things didn't make any sense. Like, they spent 4 years playing cards and faking a relationship and at some point in the story it's stated they don't know each other, as if they didn't spend years side by side. Author, what the fuck did they even do during those evenings? You could have had them fuck and the story wouldn't have been ANY different. Or the seme saying he wanted to kill the uke as soon as he got hitched to some girl, in order not to uphold to his end of the bargain. Why? Bah, who knows. I only fried my braincells by reading this.

i mean... you're his trainer, how can you tell him to go to the ring when the guy hasnt slept and is clearly distressed...
