The blonde guy asks for compensation (rightly so, since they did so much for Gisele and literally saved Anne's life) and he's a bitch? I thought Gisele was actually kind of entitled, her refusal to divorce her husband and run away with Isaac was always because she was scared to live a broke life without financial security. Even now, after everything Leo (Blondie) and the red-haired lady did for her she never once considered compensation until he brought it up.
Sure, Blondie could be nicer about it, but the world isn't about freebies.
And yeah, Isaac's brother abandoned him when they were kids but you can tell his brother is a nicer person now and feels guilty for what he did. He even brought Gisele to safety / offered her food even though she threatened him with a knife, and everyone's still calling him a dick? It's like everything is so black and white in this comment section here, there's no room for redemption as long as they do one bad thing.
I know that she is a noble since birth, and she can't do anything.. But she has to have a sense that she is in debt and think how to repay them, eventhough duchess tuitte might be sincere..
She is not from imperial family and they are not even her family.. So it's a given.
Well maybe we didn't see it yet, she might have been thinking about it too.. It's just probably because this "kind" man brought it up too fast that she's not even rested yet.

To be fair, most of the characters are dicks... Also they tried to kidnap Isaac then when she handed him over they billed her
