I know making homosexuality illegal is part of the author's world building but it just pisses me off. There's a lot of things in the world that should be made illegal and homosexuality is NOT one of it. Everytime i read this manhwa and remember that THAT is the premise for this whole thing just pisses me off. Unfortunately, im a sucker for childhood friends + unrequited love so what can i do. We just turn off our brains for a moment and try to enjoy the ride (〜￣△￣)〜
I don’t mind it being illegal as it is a reality in a lot of countries and it could have been a way to discuss homophobia in general. BUT it being used to introduce this relationship that feels lowkey coercive is kinda meh
This story is low-key trash but homosexuality IS illegal in so many countries
