Ughhh I'm loving this arc of Jinhyeong AND Uyun going against Jinhyeong's father. Like fvck that b*tchass father and honestly the mother too for being so passive on the abuse. Uyun is so strong for going up against Jinhyeong's father bc he literally is just a college kid going up against a powerful ceo. And I love that even tho Uyun gets mad and upset at Jinhyeong running away AGAIN, he also realizes why Jinhyeong is the way he is after meeting his father.
The "bottomless-pit, good for nothing idiot" Jinhyeong keeps calling himself is smth he repeats bc his father calling him that all his life. Jinhyeong's trauma reminds me of the experiment of how babies become very quiet and tense after they witness an argument (especially by parents). I can't imagine being yelled and belittled at for just PLAYING AS A KID. SNOT RUNNING KID AND JINHYEONG IS YELLED AT FOR PLAYING WITH ANOTHER KID. And the pressure from his b*tch of a father reminds me of the case of a girl/teen who called some hitmen on her own parents bc of the academic pressure. She was literally so stressed by her parents that she wanted them dead.
Having such stress is not healthy for the mind or body, and what makes it worse is Jinhyeong's father and other ppl saying how easy Jinhyeong's life actually is. The arc with Jinhyeong and his ex-best friend was such a great representation of trauma vs trauma instead of overcoming trauma & trauma. I rlly does hope they can be friends again since so many years have passed and they can make up for what they did in the past.
It genuinely fvcking hurts seeing Jinhyeong's trauma resurface after all the things he's done to move on from it. He was such a happy, bubbly child and to see him depressed and on the edge of life, it rlly hurted. Idk if ppl get annoyed at Jinhyeong constantly mentioning how worthless and pathetic he sees himself, but I honestly just feel my heart sink whenever he says that to Uyun. He DID try to talk back to his father, but words can cut like a knife and his father saying the same things Jinhyeong's heard for years literally broke him. Him breaking down at the slightest thing his father says just shows how ingrained the trauma is since childhood. I just wanna hug him and shower him in love, but the best boy Uyun is already doing that hehe.
Y'know, this ALL could've been avoided if the ML just told the MC that he IS his fated pair and that his name is on his butt cheeks. I get the ML wants to date the MC without him knowing so he can get genuine reactions outta him, but oml if u wanna date that bad just fvcking tell him the truth. And yea, the MC could tell the ML about his insecurity, but shouldn't it be obvious to the ML atp?

It be like that, but honestly wouldn’t mind this just being a short story instead of dragged out drama. Them casually dating, especially the ML dating a girl out of spite, just rubs me the wrong way. I'm guessing the plot will be that the ML and MC were lovers in the past or smth, a tragic event, and then they reincarnated and will find out. Or maybe I'm thinking too deep and they'll just love each other later lol.
