I feel bad for Fay I know she doesn’t know any better but she knows what it’s like to be thrown away. He on the other hand doesn’t know how to properly convey to a person that they are safe it makes it harder when you can’t verbally communicate.
What’s happening with Theo it almost looks like he knows something’s wrong with the “chosen one’s” bond maybe that’s what the flower represented.

She went off somewhere and while she was gone one of his servants smacked him on the head and he lost all him memories of her. That’s all I know because I dropped it right then and there ╮(￣▽￣)╭
He’s also being drugged to keep the memories suppressed. He’s having some conflicting memories along with the people who he trusts that are sticking up for her so he’s confused and has lots of migraines and irritable.
