Like, I'm fine that Joe and Ian weren't endgame, because I don't think they could have ever had a "perfect" relationship and Joe deserves someone who only has eyes for him but my heart is still aching.
Rereading this after 5/6 years and... what did I see in this? The couple has close to no chemistry, the top is an unexplained red, if not even black, flag and the story is weirdly paced.
I was rereading because of nostalgia for a simpler time only to find out that my taste in the past was kinda ass.
If you enjoy it, happy for you, but I just can't anymore.
