The FL does some real sketchy stuff to start off the story but as it progresses it's actually turning into a decent romance. Also,no smut at the moment if that's what you're here for.
But seriously what a rollercoaster of a reunion. That was so good and so heartbreaking.

The ending definitely suffered because of all the unjust toxic bullying the author was getting. It should've taken at least another volume to properly wrap things up.
I hope he comes back to expand on it.
This will definitely be one of those stories all the toxic fans come back years from now and realize their toxic behavior was uncalled for.
They're going to have their hearts ripped out and stomped on outta left field with no warning.
I'm still going to watch this arc when it gets animated but with tissues and my emotional support ice cream. Probably going to have to watch a bunch of romcoms and fluffy shoujos to recuperate after this arc.
When this arc and Loids backstory arc gets animated oh my god… tears, tears everywhere
The "romantic" relationship doesn't even really get pushed until the very end and honestly by then it's made pretty clear the ML isn't planning on doing anything with her. The majority of the story is just Shiharu being a really a really good babysitter,almost mother figure two the twins all while figuring out her trauma and her future. Fairly wholesome if simplistic story, the FL kinda reminds me of Tohru from Furuba
