randomly started this without expecting much and im quite surprised with how sweet and lovable the couple is (me and my friends will handle volume 1 hibiki with hammers let me tell u that )
it felt very natural
tho I would've loved to see more of goh-kun's " I am not able to falling in love " and explore his past
it's not bad it's a decent read but I don't get why bltwt loves it so much it feels like a watered down ooyamato tatsuyuki the fourth ( really good manga btw )
I'm a big fan of asumiko nakamura's works and I've always been praising their ability to write poetic realistic stories with obviously flawed characters
this started in that way but smth at the end shifted I can't really get youji nor can I find his abuse " justified" ( abuse is never justified if you're in this situation please leave your partner for your own safety) it's missing a certain spark I usually find in this author's work ( pun not intended) tomori tho is an incredible character I wish we could see more of her
I can't exactly out it into words but this felt like an early autumn afternoon
when tiles passes slowly and you enjoy the last birds singing as the leaves slowly dry
there is slight sadness and melancholy in those pages that naturally add to the nature of the story
tho I would've preferred if it had another chapter to cement the hospital scene and the weight of the " will they make it out"
but still lovely
the story is barely working together the mc is annoying as hell I get trying to make the metaphor with the fox and sour grape story as him pretending he's straight to let the ml go but holy shit it's trying to be too many things at once instead of focusing on being an exes to lovers manga
also !!!! crazy to try to redeem a cheating boss that was cheating on his wife with his younger coworker ( power imbalance) while trying to get his wife pregnant what is wrong with everyone involved
thank lord for the crazy facecard old man meal tho I would've loved seeing the face he was making as he got pounded into the stratosphere
really love how two different doctrines on existing and living are being questioned here
the characters have quite the depth and truly feel human with their flaws fears and qualities
really interesting this might be one of my new fav ongoing manhwa!
this was so down to earth with realistic characters all with their own demons they had to fight
this was incredible I totally get why it's so well loved and it's sooooo deserved
