I think the bearers of gold and silver stone could be reincarnation of the two same souls- the moment gold stone bearer dies, new gold stone bearer is born- the same for silver stone. (SPOILER) So, it's the same person (soul), even if a different body- like the boy at the end. It was kind of tragic and kind of not.

this ending really sucks big deal. It's like it's not ending at all. MC still didn't achieve his goal (!!SPOILER!!)- furthermore, he lost at the end with "we all the players have still long way to go" kind of declaration. If not taking some tournament title I wanted at last the for him to win his last match! It's like Naruto fans wouldn't get to see MC become the Hokage with manga's last scene being some lost fight and Narutoś teary declaration:" I have long way to go". Cheers. Then some spin-off. this sucks
interesting idea for story. too bad it wasn't developed more deeply and a little bit more realistic. But I like it, excellent idea
